ACCENTS - installation announcing exhibition

Testing ideaa for exhibition announcement. Work for "Kuća Čuvarkuća" marketing agency. 
The exhibition was about City of Novi Sad (Republic of Serbia) made for the anniversary of City gaining its independence from Maria Theresa.  

Main idea was to put spatial installations around the city, in order to tease citizens to visit the exhibition. Here is the first round of sketches. 

The idea was to use public space and the City itself as commercial screen. Marketing in public space, containing large stickers, on walls and streets (floor), free standing signs that frame the views and point at the important buildings and their interesting details. 
    
Others developed ideas were timeline that goes through the city (over the roofs, streets, walls.. in all directions), glass framed like giant classical painting, with costumes from the period - 1748 - drawn over the glass - perfect for costumed photos, without changing clothes, choice of 30+ interesting city spatial accents, and important places, presented through postcards with some curiosities and information about them, etc.         
Unfortunatelly, Museum of City of Novi Sad gave up on the promotion of the exhibition in total. 
A letter, which is stylized coat of arms and the City flag, was logo of the exhibition and a reference for installation proposals.  Photos are by AWL projekt.

In order to present Novi Sad through its main identity points, 22 topics / accents are chosen for the exhibition. The choice followed the idea of presenting Novi Sad in the spirit of historical values, like Europeanism, multiculturality, aspiration for freedom, education and emancipation, continuous development and readiness to adopt new tends. Hronological and tematical concept, choice and exhibiting of representative items from Museum fundus, as well as multimedial content  based on historical content, enables visitors to gain knowledge and unique different aspects of local history and cultural heritage. 

Exhibition "Novi Sad Accents" presents results of work of curatorial team of Museum of City of Novi Sad, digital artist Dušan Jovanović and marketing agency "Kuća čuvarkuća" from Novi Sad. In creating content and visual narrative of the exhibition, innovative pracitces are applied, both in museological and interpretative way.

U cilju prezentovanja Novog Sada kroz njegove glavne identitetske tačke, za izložbu je simbolično odabrano 22 tema – 22 akcenta. Izbor akcenata je vođen idejom predstavljanja grada u duhu njegovih istorijskih vrednosti, kao što su evropeizam, multikulturalnost, borba za slobodu, obrazovanje i emancipacija, neprekidan razvoj i spremnost za usvajanje novih trendova. Hronološko – tematski koncept, izbor i izlaganje reprezentativnih predmeta iz fonda muzeja, kao i multimedijalni sadržaji bazirani na originalnoj istorijskoj građi, omogućavaju posetiocu sticanje znanja i jednistven doživljaj različitih aspekata lokalne istorije i kulturnog nasleđa.

Izložba „Novi Sad Akcenti“ predstavlja rezultat zajedničkog rada kustoskog tima Muzeja grada Novog Sada, dr Dušana Jovovića digitalnog umetnika iz Beograda i marketinške agencije “Kuća čuvarkuća” iz Novog Sada. U kreiranju i sadržinskog i vizuelnog narativa izložbe, primenjene su inovativne prakse, kako u muzeološkom smislu, tako i u pogledu interpretacije i prezentacije izabranih sadržaja.
